What does it take to start a jazz band at APL? A social media site (Cooler) and a question. Adam Cushman asked the question “Anyone interested in playing some jazz after work?”, and with that, CEFJ was born. Adam started playing guitar about the same time he learned to walk, or so the legend goes. Preferring Kenny Burrell to Pat Metheny any day of the week, Adam can often be found rushing from MP-6 to Parson’s auditorium late Wednesday afternoon to make a rehearsal with his Eastman archtop.
