Close Enough For Jazz (CEFJ) is the official jazz ensemble of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL). We play jazz from the Big Band era of the 40’s to the modern jazz fusion era of the 70’s. From swing to funk, bop to bossa, CEFJ strives to create fresh renditions of timeless jazz classics.
